367 – Forget something?

I know, I know... someone should call the Westhame division of the SPCA for poor Vorpal, being left behind like that. In Becky's defense, as Vorpal's de facto owner, she's had a lot on her mind, what with some centuries-old hammer talking to her and telling her she's now the Hand of Morridin. That would make anyone a little scatterbrained.

Beside, Vorpal's in no danger - she can ingest her enemies whole, remember? :)

See you all Friday!

  1. Well it would guarantee that Mari would be safe is Sora got her a Chimera Hound,..I mean seriously who is gonna mess with a child whose dog can eat a small wagon whole,….

  2. I think since beck is going to be a pally she should have vorpal be hear mount he just needs to go threw a gowth spurt and he would be all set.

    p.s.
    would jaime be alergic to a rideing bird like a chocobo

  3. Jaine on a chocobo like bird. Meh, works for blood elves in World of Warcraft. A goat or a shape shifting elven steed (as seen in the Bedlams Bard series) may work as well.

  4. Jaine’s mom was a bard and got a familar she should to it could be her 3rd level feet if this was 3.5. I can see her with a cat and the rest of the crew teaseing her as a cat lady or dur could be scared of cats.

  5. Sora should so totally get Mari a puppy, but it needs to be some regal long-haired borzoi type that the kid can adorn with bows. That border guard can be assigned the title “royal administrator of the walkies/sacred keeper of the pooper scoop.”

    1. @doornik1142: Only partly. My girls have been wanting a pet for quite some time, but since we live in an apartment, that hasn’t been an option. Our complex allows cats or small dogs, but I’m EXTREMELY allergic to cats and I just don’t think it’s fair to keep a dog, no matter the size, cooped up in an apartment all day. When we get a house, we’ll get a dog, preferably a beagle. Beagles are awesome. 🙂

      @Christiane: LOL!

  6. such is the traditional role of most animal companions and familiars in role playing games: They are either forgotten until convenient (see V’s raven from OOTS) or time-wasting spotlight-stealing diversions that leave one player at the table extremely satisfied with the gaming experience while everyone else wants to strangle the little buggers.

    At least, that has been my experience. Which is strange, because I am totally a pet person in real life.
