Eh, who needs subtlety when you have power over life and death? Then again, Lord Borloth was probably one of those guys that was really good in Math and Science (or Magic, in this case), but stunk at English and Art in high school, so he has little to no design sense? I was kind of the reverse, so I guess that makes me the… anti-lich? I'm thinking about this too much.

But… He does have “design sense”! How else can he draw an unlimited supply of interior designers to supplement his zombie horde?

@Ryurei Jaine has the allergies. She probably just put a barrier spell on her skin to filter the allergens. That and Rob most likely just plain forgot.

@ Strykor, Ryurei: It was equal parts that I did forget initially and then not finding a way to work it back into the narrative that wouldn’t feel forced. It’s kind of how, early in the strip, Dhur could detect the presence of the undead because he’d feel all oogie and everything would turn orange to him, but then it never came up again. In D&D 4E terms, we’ll say that they both took feats (or traded out, in Dhur’s case) to take care of those oversights. Anyway, MeatShield No-Prizes
