Welcome to strip number 200! In case anyone out there is unfamiliar with the above term, "ding", it is what you say in the chat channel on a MMORPG like World of Warcraft or Everquest to signify your character going up a level. I know most folks reading this know this, but you never know who might be reading and saying to themselves, "ding? he has gas? I don't get it..."
Anyway, I just want to take this opportunity to thank all of you for reading and for all your support. I really couldn't do this without knowing that people out there are reading and enjoying it. Instead of doing something cool for the 2ooth strip, or #300, etc., I'll be doing something special for the anniversary of the strip, which will be September 9th. I'll have been doing the strip for 2 years by that point!

We hit Strip number #200, so that’s what the “ding!” is for. 🙂
I used “ding” just last night when my Loremaster in LOTRO hit 27.
Thanks for the explanation on “ding.” Honestly, even if I didn’t know what it meant, I’d still think this strip is funny; how could I not laugh at gas-related jokes???
More importantly, thanks for writing this strip, Rob. You do a great job with it, and it’s an inspiration to me as I try to get my own creative career kick-started.
