This works on two levels. First, selling a valuable artifact to help a friend is exactly the kind of thing Ch'p would do, and secondly, I've been wanting to get him back into his red-and-gold robes for a while now. Win-win.

How much do Holy Artifacts go for? Well, I expect Ch’p has quite a bit of change rattling around in his pockets/pouches now. And it’s likely to just sorta evaporate as they go along, a bit more disappearing every time he encounters someone who could use a bit of cash. Or maybe he’ll just drop it into the donation box next time he visits one of Shondella’s temples/shrines. ^_^
