Maybe that gadget of Philo's in panel one is a Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator? You'd have to take that up with Philo.
Ugh. Just ugh. This summer has been brutal. I moved from California to Texas with my eyes open - I knew humidity would come into play, I've dealt with it before. However, HOLY CRAP does this summer suck! The combination of heat and humidity are way worse than I've ever experienced before and I've been in South Florida in August, so I know what I'm talking about.
Just thought I'd complain a bit. I'm done now. Sorry to bother. Be about your day. :)

Just remember this when filing your income taxes and you do not have to pay state taxes
@ That and having ready access to Whataburger and Taco Cabana have not escaped my notice, sir. 🙂
I am in the country of Djibouti at this time. I long for Texas humidity at this point, it would be a welcome change from the permanent silver sky we have here. On cloudless days we have nothing but 90% humidity with temperatures well above 100 degrees Farenhight.
Be glad you didn’t grow up in Kansas, specifically an hour South-Southwest of KC. Air was so thick in the later half of summer I just couldn’t breath. Which is why I ended up in New Mexico. Faster dryout time.
You must be living down around the coast – no other part of Texas ever compares to Florida in humidity level.
When last we left Malvat, he was floating and gloating in front of that crystal. Yet, I’m not seeing him in any of these excellent action panels. Did the bad guy get a chance to scarper off? Or is he aged Swiss cheese now?
Having lived in Texas, worked in Louisiana, and Florida, as well as stints in the jungles of South America I have come to the unmistakable conclusion that there is nothing so blessed as home here in New Mexico.
@strykor you are correct in this fact
