This reminds me of that scene in the first Austin Powers movie where Dr. Evil is reprimanding his son, Scott Evil, for wanting to just waste Austin and be done with it instead of detailing his entire intricate evil plan to him before subjecting him to sharks with frikkin' laser beams!
Or words to that effect.
Hasta!

said the one thing you should never say to durr, mongrel.
….Somethings got to give, Rage, let the bodies hit the floor…..
Nuclear fallout in three, two, one…
Plot twist: Despite all the writing tropes demanding otherwise, Dhur’s rage is NOT enough to break out of the prison, leaving him to impotently stew in his own anger.
He does, however, distract the wizards for long enough for Jaine to sneak out of hers. She’s been finagling her way out of more powerful magical prisons from her father since she was 10.
@Stardrake Aww, c’mon, I gotta give Dhur a moment to shine, ya know? 🙂
someone has an ego large enough to bring down doom. Typical of villians
This brings to mind the fight between Mr. Furious and Casanova Frankenstein in the movie ‘Mystery Men’.
Mr. Furious: Rage… taking over…
Casanova Frankenstein: Ya, ya, ya. Ve’ve heard all that before.
Mr. Furious: (his face is all red and he is just about vibrating into the floor) No, no, no. Rage… *really* taking over…
“Do not taunt the Happy Fun Berserker!”. ^_~
@Rob: Oh, but it’d be FUN to make it look like Dhur’s going to break out in an explosion of pure rage only for it to be a diversion for both the enemy AND the audience! 😛
