I thought clerics were supposed to have high Wisdom scores?
Breaking News: I expect to have the third MeatShield Book, The Tomb of Errors, available by July 1st, 2017! As in the last two books, this will have special additions to it, including Philo's stats. However, I am entertaining suggestions for other bits of bonus material. What would you all like to see in the next book?

Well, that’s one down. But no evidence that the rest of the group has been taken so it looks to me as though this young troll has fumbled his Int score *and* his Wisdom check both unless he has buddies willing and able to back him up. Even then they might learn a lesson about why armed and dangerous adventurers aren’t the safest of targets so it might be that he was mistaken about who the “stupids” were. ^_^
Maybe he plans to hold the Dwarf hostage for the other’s surrender? (Didn’t say it was a GOOD plan!)
For book 3, it would be nice to see updated Character Sheets on our heroes.
Wisdom comes in many forms. If you don’t have ranks in Sense Motive (or the system equivalent) high Wisdom doesn’t actually make you that much better at detecting a hustle.
