This strip is going live on Election Day here in the US. Today is probably the most stressful election in decades for everyone, no matter what side of the fence you sit on. Like a lot of you, I'm scared. I'm scared because polls can be wrong. I'm scared because there is a chance, however slight at this point, that a man with little to no self-control and non-existent morals may end up in the Oval Office.
I don't care who you vote for. Vote for Hilary. Vote for Stein. Vote for Johnson. Heck, write in Dhur! He would definitely do a better job than He Who Must Not Be Named But Whose Name Rhymes with Dump. Just don't sit at home. That way lies the Dark Side.
Okay, I'm done. Remember, his full name is "Dhur, Son of Dhoh."

As the results come in, remember: The presidency is only one branch. This is a limit to how much damage he can do.
Disclaimer: I haven’t had my candidate win the presidency in the last three decades, so I’m used to being disappointed. ^_^
This is what the ‘Electoral College’ is supposed to stop – a popular demagogue fooling the common voter and sneaking in – unfortunately it looks like they are not doing their job, although it has happened before I believe where the College has voted against the popular vote in a state.

Republicans have the House and the Senate, and between them, they can appoint whoever they like to the open space of the Supreme Court. Short of some of the Republican senators and representatives making good on their promises to stymie Drumpf despite sharing a party, those limits won’t apply this time around.
On topic, Endure Elements equipment certainly makes sense. Under 3.5 rules, it’s reasonably cheap to make an item that casts a 1st-level spell once per day, so that would probably do the trick.
There are all manner of policies HWMNBNBWNRWD might seek to enact, that I would fully oppose. Nor do I find you objectionable for loathing him and opposing his election, for all that I find his opponent even more loathsome and terrifying.
But at least the election has demonstrated just how much, and how forcefully, the media lies on the behalf of their darlings, and the lengths to which even social media providers are willing to go in order to stifle even the appearance of dissent. The more people who walk away with that, the less of a loss this election will be.

2) @Stardrake, you need 2/3 of the Senate to confirm a Supreme Court appointment (and others, i believe). So it is not guaranteed based on party lines.
Actually, it only takes a simple majority for a nominee to be approved to the Supreme Court, once the vote gets to the Senate floor. However, it takes 60 votes to override a filibuster (cloture).

If there’s anything I hope people take away from this, it is how much the main stream networks news shows, most of the news networks, and social media platforms were willing to lie and apply double standards to HWMNBNBWNRWD and his supporters.
