We haven't had a good dungeon crawl in a long time, have we now? By the way, Poxgut is a hipster; I toyed with the idea of giving him handlebar mustaches, but each time I drew him with them, it just came out looking weird. Well, weirder.
Take care,
~Rob

That looks like one of the traps in the bowser’s castle levels of the mario sidescrollers.
On an unrelated note, what qualifications does Poxgut have to be in the front of the group? d12 hd? improved evasion? nothing?
Good thing Poxgut’s pants are already brown,…..lol. Well I assume they are brown because 1) I am colorblind and 2) if they were not brown when he started I am sure they are now,……
Fancy collage degree didn’t prepare him for that, did it?
Dragonborn Sorcerer is right. Poxgut should not be in front. Ch’p may have evasion. Jaine and/or Philo may have the perception to find the traps without settting them off. And Dhur and Becky almost certainly have more hit points.
And, oh , yes: Poxgut has to get back or the Kobold Chef* will kill his hostages.
*It is spelt right (http://www.meatshield.net/archive/456-hail-to-the-cheef/). The kobolds have been mispronouncing it ^_^
A Goatee would be the thing for a Hipster kobold. A Goatee and a beret. Technically, that would make him a Beatnik, I suppose, but it would give the right pretentious-artsy look.
Dhur probably has more experience with traps in these temples and dungeons. Going to be fun seeing him in his element. Unless there is some sort of “mind trap” then he may need help getting past a logic problem.
Handlebar moustaches are “hip”? O.o
I just had a bizarre image of a room full of bikers discussing the latest iPod accessories for their Harleys…
The title reminds me of something Bree Three-Hands said once.
A bit late to give him more overt clothing cues like Buddy Holly glasses, a stingy brim fedora, or a checkered scarf to go with his turtleneck. Check out Wes Molebash’s hipster Apostles and Magi for inspiration.
@ Matt: I am totally going to use Beatnik Kobolds.
