I know I promised a more in-depth review of my first time playing Dungeon World last week, but I have pulled another late night and I am really tired. I will catch you on the flipside with that. :)
Take care,

The rate of change seems to have spiked. Or maybe folks were too busy to update it for a while ^_^
Not that it seems likely to be the sole cause, but there is a possibility that some of the loss of population may be emigration.
Attrition from demonic attacks is a good probable cause. Wouldn’t be surprised if a Private from a week or two ago is now the base Commander. Quite possibly very jumpy and near exhaustion by now.
Trying to see if you’ve hidden a code in the roadsign again, not quite working. A simple number-to-letter transposition gives some gibberish, then that last number throws it (C, D, M, E, U… 54? There’s no 54th letter!!!)
Glad to see where this is going, especially with Jaine’s animal-speak cloak.

@Mattexian: Ummm, code? I wasn’t aware I was doing that. 🙂
I was thinking of the backwards Texas cities on the roadsigns in previous comics.
