As I said in the last blog post, strip updates will be irregular until after July 4th, mostly due to my girls getting out of school for the summer, house guests, and the fact that in my immediate family, there are five birthdays (including my daughters' 9th) and one anniversary in June, along with Father's Day. It's a busy month. Thanks for hanging in there with me, I appreciate it.
Take care,
~Rob

Because that would involve you being genre savvy there Ch’p. Would also mean you were metagaming, and everyone hates a metagamer.
I do tend to wonder about carnal relations with shape changers. I suppose it’s like having “variety” even though it’s just doctored up vanilla.
Happy Father’s Day! Hope its a good one.
@Jeff: Thanks, it was!:)
Always the same thing isn’t it. If you morph to look like them it’s considered creepy and deceptive. If you don’t you’re so ugly that you’re creepy, and they smash your face in with a rock, tie you to a post and set you on fire. You just can’t win.
The only upside is that if you have a gift for languages doing the fieldwork for your Ph.D. in Anthropology is really easy.
Rather than not being genre-savvy, I think that Ch’p is being sarcastic.
What I’m wondering is how Day’l didn’t replicate into that form…
@E: I’ve never actually addressed it in the strip, but the assumption I always made was that Day’l never knew exactly what he had on his hands when he made that potion. True, it would have turned him into a changeling, but since he was expecting to turn into Philo, he subconsciously turned himself into Philo’s half-elven form using Philo’s shapeshifting ability.
