Hmm. I'm actually a little out of practice drawing Dhur with his hair and his chops. Oh, those luscious chops...;)
The fun is just about to begin, because one of the older adages from D&D, right behind "Don't Split the Party," is this: "Never mix potions. Ever."
See you on Wednesday/Thursday!

I thought that to follow Don’t Split the Party was that there’s No Cure for the Paladin Blues.
Heh, couldn’t resist, order of the stick is awesome. Also, I hold this comic on par with OOTS =D
@Dragonborn Sorcerer: Wow! Thanks for the compliment! I love OOTS also, even if he has taken up all the cool names for D&D-related books, making me work that much harder. 🙂
Fast healing and lots of hair? Dhur drank the Wolverine potion.
Okay, so whatever is going to happen to Dhur is going to come down to what he drank, what order, and whether some effects get canceled out or not. Since we didn’t see the first two and Dhur doesn’t remember, number three is going to be left to our imagination. Which for me means I’m seeing a giant Cousin Itt.
Random potions, so many possibilities. I am suddenly picturing scenes from the movie Dr. Jeckle and Ms. Hyde.
Ah, mixing potions. Good times, gooooood times…
I want to see Dhur’s belt buckle with a “drunk/sick” face from his drinking the potions!
Ah, the Potion Miscibility table from the DMG. Obviously Dhur managed to avoid the (generally most likely) fatal poison. Perhaps he got a “permanent” result?
*ducks*
The only time you can count on a not-to-bad result from mixing potions is when they are mixed in the bad guy’s stomach.
not-too-bad*
Two O’s in the adverb, Norman!
(shakes head ruefully)
I figured that somewhere, sometime, some halfling warrior had to have started a fight with a potion of giant strength, and ended it (unthinkingly) with a potion of extra healing, with the giant strength potion taking permanent effect. He would eventually retire, to buy a tavern and make it the finest in the capitol, with swinging doors at least 15′ tall, so that unhappy guests can leave by air.
