526 – I love intelligent weapons :)

It’s been a while since we heard from the Sledge… all the way back here. Looks like the intelligent weapon that belonged to one of history’s greatest paladins might just have an agenda of its own… ๐Ÿ™‚

Take care,

~Rob

That is a problem with sentient weapons. I think they don’t realize their wielders need to rest. There is only so much fighting you can do before you die of exhaustion or succumb to your wounds.

…And that’s probably just the nicer ones. I imagine that the nastier ones merely regard their wielders as expendable riding animals. ^_^;

Did you change the formatting on the site? I can’t read it on my cell phone anymore it only shows a third of the comic and doesn’t let me scroll sideways to see the rest. ๐Ÿ™

@James Masters: Sorry about that. Google recently changed how their PageRank system ranks websites by including whether or not a site is mobile-friendly. I had attempted to modify my site’s code to comply with this, but it apparently didn’t work. I reverted the site’s code back to what it was, so it should work now. I’d clear your cache before trying it again, though. Thanks for the heads-up!

Works now thanks

I am starting to wonder if “Grinspliter” is the strong silent type of magical weapon or if it won’t talk until spoken to or if it’s just merely enchanted.

How’s the revamped Patreon coming along?

What annoys me is the number of Wikia sites that claim to be mobile-friendly, but are actually now impossible to browse with a mobile. It seems to be a general Wikia thing, too, since other wikis don’t have it, and every Wikia wiki I’ve visited since I noticed it does.

Back on topic, I’m suddenly reminded of 2E paladins. Who constantly radiate an aura that gives penalties to evil creatures. Said evil creatures always know that they’re being affected by it. And which the paladin can’t turn OFF.

No subterfuge for you!

Damn you Sir…

Now I’ve got Peter Gabriel’s ‘Sledgehammer’ playing in my head’.

Eli…

Talking to your weapon? Hammer? Well, we have to trust you – you know what you’re doing!
