Oh Lord! I have seen my DOG looking just like Vorpal! Too CUTE!!!!

Usually, you can’t see the border between day and night that sharply unless you’re looking at it from orbit or farther.

That said, there may be a reason this border is called “the terminator”…

So, have they brought their darkvision goggles?

Thick stormy clouds, tall canyon walls. Yep, that will do it.
Don’t worry about it Dhur, you have low light vision, if you were fully human, you’d be blind in there.
