That’s right man, let out the divorcee bitterness and take in the remarried smugness.

OK, it’s offical. Jaine’s Dad is the coolest character in the comic.

Elves, they move on. Also, this is funny. He says he dosn’t care, but wants to rub it in by proxy 🙂

This is probably a private joke between them. It’s going to be fun to watch this play out.

Heh. It could well be – chances are, she knew that Noral had originally been promised to another, and once he was freed up again he’d probably remarry for political advantage as seems to be typical for elves in the Meatshieldverse. (It’s also 3.5 canon that elves view seperation and remarriage as fairly typical, although 3.5 canon elves are more chaotic than Meatshield elves seem to be – they wouldn’t put up with arranged marriages as a rule, for instance.)

Wait… Jaine is 36 years old? If her mom left when she was 6, and it’s been 30 years… Dang, I never would have guessed. Jaine looks good for 30. I wonder how old everyone else is?

@Keishdante – Yep, but you’ve got to remember that different races mature at different rates. Dwarves aren’t usually considered fully adult until at least their first century, elves a little more than that, and half-elves often aren’t “adults” until their late 20s/early 30s. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. 🙂
