403 – Might anyone have a giant shoehorn?

Not much from me today. I start up the new Pathfinder campaign on Friday, so wish me luck.

Take care, everybody!

It’s soooo…….EMBARRASSING to have the Grand Entrance ruined like that!

You always put on weight when trapped in another dimension, it is very embarrassing and starts the big boned jokes.

It almost seems like the portal collapsed on his neck. To bad it didn’t just close completely ^_^

OTOH, if the portal acted like some (The Probability Broach, for instance), collapsing on on object would’ve caused an explosion. Perhaps it’s a good thing it didn’t just close completely, after all.

Good luck with the Pathfinder! Have fun storming the castle!

I’ve been doing PF for a long while. Here’s a site that is very very helpful when playing or GMing.

http://www.d20pfsrd.com/

All the PF you could ever want. Every spell, every monster, every piece of equipment, every weapon and armor from every book PF has out and also most of the 3rd party ones also. Not bad to navigate and it has an internal search function. Enjoy PF and hope the site helps.

Well, among dragons, getting bigger is seen as a good thing…

…unless, that is, it means you can’t fit through the portal you were shoved through when you were a few centuries (and possibly a couple of size categories) younger.

DMing Pathfinder pretty much feels like 3.5, with a few rule changes here and there. You can even decide to keep 3.5 rules if you’re not comfortable.

The best changes are for players. More feats, races are customizable, classes have more options (Rogue talents, Rage powers, etc). So unlike 3.5, you could have two Halfling Rogues that are totally different from each other.

Hmmm. Becki, summon the sledge!

Of course, Dhur is still out there someplace with a big glowy axe. And that neck looks so tempting …

I don’t understand the need to adopt new rule sets when they come out. If you are happy with one of the older editions, why not just stick with it? I’m still an AD&D guy myself (hey, at least I upgraded from the white box).

Good luck!

Or is that bad luck for gaming? I forget.

Break a leg! Preferably someone else’s!

Joe, I believe the term is “Smite Evil”

Mike on February 2, 2013 @ 12:01 pm

Smite Evil followed up by repeatedly hitting it on the head may work. If all else fails, Toss Day’l at him with a few cups of his mind sap syrup. Collapsing the portal at this time may work as well.

I never saw that coming, and to borrow a phrase: “That’s funny right there, I don’t care who you are.”

Plaid Wolf on February 6, 2013 @ 7:00 am

Damn, almost forgot the classic…..

“Does this portal make me look fat?”

Futbolcoach on February 8, 2013 @ 5:15 am

Yep…he’s still stuck.
