Just received my copy of “Quest of the Scepter Thingy” it was as good as I remember, though I wish it could have been in color.
Awhile, back you were saying you would do 3.5 stats for Dhur, Jaine and the others, any progress on that?
@Dan Brady: Glad you like the book! Yeah, color would have been nice, but color’s expensive!! I figured you guys wouldn’t want to buy the book if it cost $35 each 🙂 As far as the 3.5 rules stats go, I haven’t done anything with any kind of stats for the gang since making up the 4.0 stats and then being told (nicely) by Wizards of the Coast’s legal department that it didn’t fall into the definition of parody, and thus wasn’t protected under the First Amendment. Essentially, I could have been sued. 3.5 is a whole different kettle of fish, though, since it’s open source. I’ll think about it more over the Christmas break.
I think you might be surprised how many people would pay $35, for one of your books. I know I would’ve, something to think about for future publications.
