deflecting arrows is easy, you just have to hide behind dhur… or a rock…

Something is odd about the flight pattern of those arrows… Oh, I know what it is. To make those shots the elf with the bow would have to be sitting on the floor. 🙂

At least these elves are offering a swift death.

Silly elves; didn’t they teach you in betrayal 101 to attack BEFORE alerting your ‘allies’ to your true intent?

Hrrrmn… *reads back* Thought so. Nothing in Khalinor’s orders about killing the Vanalassa and her companions. Are they overstepping their bounds, or do they believe that whatever the map leads to will protect them from the wrath of the Archmage (or He Who Has The Power To Render Us All Into Our Component Atoms)?

They probably don’t plan to harm Jaine — for exactly the reason you state — but see her companions as expendable. So when Ch’p was separated from the rest for a moment, it seemed like the perfect time to obtain the map.

Here is a question,…who will the elves be more scared of,..the Outpost Leader,..or the “Princess”, daughter of the Archmage, who is protected by a HalfOrc Barbarian, a Monk, and a Paladin,…hrmmmmm,..that is a really tough decision,…. some measly Outpost Leader or the meeting of the badassery on her side
