342 – I wanna be Prettypuff!

Can you tell what cartoon my daughters love? Three guesses, and the first two don’t count. πŸ™‚

Hasta!

….Dammit.

I was gonna make a joke here, but I dont know enough kids Cartoo.s to pull it off. Ah well. Still, por Jaine. Her new stepsister is creepinv her out.

Dirty pool, Sir! Clearly this page’s comic is a trick, therefore the answer must be Hello Kitty: the industrial espionage ninja years.

Jamming on May 10, 2012 @ 2:35 am

Jaine has the opportunity to establish a great relationship with her stepsister. I hope that Jaine rises to the “play”. It looks to be that maybe her stepsister might be half eleven too.

Which would be interesting to me that two elves with former human spouses came to be together.

5.5?

CoHSteelclaw on May 10, 2012 @ 8:08 am

Your “Daughters” like the show, huh?

…
….
…..

Right… Sir, your Bronie license has been RE-voked!

Rob on May 10, 2012 @ 8:14 am

@Spammy: Umm, what does 5.5 mean?

FSilvermane on May 10, 2012 @ 10:28 am

Ummmmm,….. history geek coming out,…must resist,…arrrgh cannot resist,…. technically since Jaine is blood descendant she would be “Royal Princess” or “Princess of the Blood” while her step sister would just be a “Princess” ,…. kind of a big difference,… anyone who marries Jaine gets all the benefits of being royal as do their kids,..anyone who marries the step-sister gets bupkiss other than a title and kids do not even get a title.

Ahhh now that I have had my History Geek moment I feel a bit better,…all that being said I know Adris is a fantasy world and you are its Supreme Being so can do whatever you like I just had to have my “Moment”. Also, you gotta admit this whole “new princess” thing has the potential for some real fun in it,….lol

zuche on May 10, 2012 @ 12:46 pm

Spammy is referring to Jamming’s “half-eleven” typo.

Rob on May 10, 2012 @ 1:02 pm

@Zuche: LOL! I didn’t notice that before!

Warsmith Bob on May 10, 2012 @ 3:42 pm

@ FSilvermane: Ah, but you forget that Elves are stuck-up, elitist, racist pricks who believe wholeheartedly that 1. The world was created solely for their enjoyment and all other races are creations of evil deities who sought to usurp the elves’s rightful place in the universe and 2. The sun shines from their nether-regions.

While Jaine is “technically” the heir under primogeniture, she is also the mongrel half-blood spawn of an obviously ensorcelled young man and some human trollop who ran off with a powerful magical artifact.

Mari, on the other hand, is pure elf. Her mother is from a respected and politically powerful family.

Rules of succession and inheritance are often more “suggestions” than actual guidelines, governed by political expediency and the whims of the incumbent.

Also, in this universe, the “Ruler” of the elves is the mightiest mage. It is not an inherited title. So the whole “princess” thing is more for bragging rights than anything else.

Rob on May 10, 2012 @ 3:50 pm

@Warsmith Bob: I wouldn’t go so far as to call them racist, really. That’s a little strong. The thing about their nether regions, though, that’s true. πŸ™‚

Spammy the Wonder Mule on May 10, 2012 @ 9:11 pm

“The sun shines from their nether-regions.”

Quite literally, it’s a little known fact that in some of the original works that would become The Silmarillion Tolkien wrote that the elven digestive tract was thermonuclear based. It’s too bad the references were edited out for print.

Jamming on May 11, 2012 @ 2:29 am

I blame my spell-checker being on “automatic”. However 5.5 might be indicative of the approximate human equivalent age, of her new stepsister.

Calvin Copyright on May 11, 2012 @ 10:24 am

Actually, I think 5.5 is equivalent to the emoticon o.o with raised eyebrows πŸ™‚
