Each time I write Jaine translating for Dhur, I think of that bit in Airplane!: "Oh, Stewardess? I speak Jive." Even though a lot of that film's jokes are now dated, that one more or less stands up today.
I am really pleased with how the Inn of the Moaning Lungfish came out. Why Moaning Lungfish? Man, you don't wanna know....;)

I’m also reminded of the start of the comic MegaTokyo. The protagonists are on an airplane, and one of the other passengers falls ill. The stewardess calls, “Does anyone here speak l33t?”
