144 – The Mission Against the Giants!

Happy Binary Day, everybody! today is 10/11/10, or 101110, which in binary is the number “46.” Yesterday was a Binary Day also, although it was far cooler since the date 10/10/10 in binary translates to the number “42,” which is the Answer to The Ultimate Question of Life, The Universe, and Everything. Thank you, Douglas Adams.

Quick aside for those of you who aren’t big D&D geeks like me. In Dungeons & Dragons, you fight monsters. Some of those monsters are giants, and there are several different varieties. There are (in ascending order of size): hill giants (which is probably the kind of giant that was in the story Jack and Beanstalk),  stone giants, frost giants, fire giants, cloud giants and storm giants. Now we have one step lower on that chain – gravel giants. My contribution to the hobby is now complete. 😉
