50 – Papillon, I need some money…

There’s a vague reference for you.

As I type this, it is a beautiful day in Southern California and my kids are playing outside. Life’s good. Hopefully, this week I can build my strip buffer back up again, as right now I only have 3 strips in the can and I had 40 at one point.

In D&D news, the D&D experience was this past weekend in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and I discovered, via the D&D Experience’s Twitter feed, that Gamma World will be coming back this year! Gamma World is a role-playing game that came out in 1978 and is set in a post-apocalyptic world filled with mutants, weird technology and homicidal robots. Good times. I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for this quirky setting, even though it has been resurrected numerous times in different game systems. The new version is supposed to use the 4th edition D20 system, with the addition of a cards system thrown into the mix. I hope it’ll be good, but I’m going to reserve judgment until I have a chance to read the thing in October.

Hasta,
