I love Pandora. Not the planet from Avatar, but the website. Pandora is an offshoot of the Music Genome Project and matches you up with music determined by your tastes. If you like, say, Barenaked Ladies or Wilco, you can have Pandora program a channel for you with music that shares traits in common with the bands you listed. All of this is just a long-winded way of saying that, via Pandora, I discovered a band that I now love. They’re called Tripod and are freakin’ hilarious and, judging by their website design, may very well be gamers. I was listening to my Pandora station and on came these three guys from Australia talking about King Kong, which had me laughing out loud and making several fellow patrons at Barnes & Noble wonder what was wrong with me.
