UPDATE – 4/28/12 – I am extremely burned out right now, folks, as you can probably tell by the frequency of the strips lately. I will try to have the new MeatShield strip up on Wednesday. I just need a few days to recharge. Thanks for understanding. 🙂

Sorry this one is so late, folks. My local power company had a planned outage today that I… forgot about. *sigh* ADHD in action!

That’s exactly what I was thinking, Spammy. That, and that yes, sarcasm IS an elven genetic trait.

Planned power outage? I didn’t know you were from a third world country.

@Jeff: I don’t know, does northern Los Angeles County count as third world? 😉 Seriously, SoCal Edison had sent out flyers notifying us of the outage so they could work on… some sort of electrical equipment that I can only guess at. I forgot about it as I was working merrily along until 9:16 AM when my computer and everything else shut off. For 4 and a half hours. That’s when I looked around and said to myself, “Oh, Yeaaaaaah, there was going to be planned blackout sometime this month. Guess it’s today.” Luckily, I had just saved my work about a minute before the power went out. Losing all that work would have sucked big time.

I live just outside Chicago. Sure our state is bankrupt, we ahve the second highest unemployment rate in the country, and three of the last five govenors are in jail, but at least our power stays on.

“Sarcasm ill becomes you, Dad”,..what the heck was she raised with her head in the sand,… he is an Elf,.. a powerful Wizard ,..recognized far and wide,… Sarcasm becomes him quite well. Love Jaine but seriously she is smart enough to realize her Dad probably chanted till his throat was sore and did mystic waving and waggling till it felt like his hands were gonna fall off looking for his wife,….lol

At least her “cloaking” works. I wonder if it will just klingon after a good magic drying. So how well does scrying into other dimensions work? Or would dimension hopping make people nearly impossible to find?

But seriously, this strange thing called “life” comes first. Or so I hear…

I have only one thing to say about your “burnout”.

All jokes aside, I agree with Jamming on this one. I look forward to a new Meatshield three days a week. Hope you’re feeling better.

I am not one of the usual commentators, but I wanted to let you know, Rob, that I understand about burnout. I’m there frequently with my job. Gaming helps, and online comics like yours help, but the best help is to just get away from it all for a while. Hope you find the light at the end of the tunnel, and especially hope that the light isn’t just oncoming traffic.
